At GIXA, we offer Cross IX services that seamlessly interconnect our Points of Presence (PoPs) across multiple strategic data centres.
Through our dedicated cross-site infrastructure, members can establish peering sessions with networks connected at any GIXA location, as if they were connected to a single unified fabric.

Cross IX ensures that our members benefit from efficient, low-latency, and highly resilient interconnection without the need for additional infrastructure investments between data centres.

About GIXA

The Ghana Internet eXchange (GIX), launched on October 18, 2005, is operated by the Ghana Internet eXchange Association (GIXA), a non-profit established by GISPA and other stakeholders. Hosted at the Ghana India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence, GIX facilitates local traffic exchange among ISPs and network operators. GIXA represents these operators, while GISPA advocates for ISPs. The exchange is open to all carriers, including non-GISPA members.
